Welcome to CedarTrain. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of CedarTrain Agency's Website and services.
By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use CedarTrain's services if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
1. Services Scope
CedarTrain operates as a private intermediary agency assisting international clients with relocation, legal documents, and placements in the Republic of Croatia. Our services cover three specialized categories:
- Study in Croatia: Assisting with university admissions applications, grade conversions (nostrifikacija), student visa paperwork, and dormitory reservations.
- Work in Croatia: Connecting job seekers with licensed employers, drafting work permit (dozvola za rad i boravak) files for police (MUP) submissions, and securing employer-provided housing.
- Vacation in Croatia: Coordinating bespoke tourist travel, island skippers, yacht charters, transfers, and boutique villa reservations.
2. Academic Admissions Disclaimer
While CedarTrain guarantees comprehensive assistance in translating documents and coordinating with administrative boards, the final decision regarding university enrollment and visa issuance rests solely with the individual Croatian university boards and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MVEP). CedarTrain cannot be held liable for academic admissions rejections.
3. Employment Permit Conditions
CedarTrain assists workers in preparing application folders for work permit approval. The final approval and timing of work permit issuances are determined by the Croatian Employment Service (HZZ) and the local Police Administration (MUP). CedarTrain is not liable for administrative processing delays or document rejections by Croatian government entities.
4. Booking and Cancellations (Vacation Track)
All vacation, skipper, and transfer reservations are subject to availability. Cancellation policies vary by villa and charter provider:
- Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the travel date are eligible for a partial refund as defined by the specific accommodation terms.
- Deposits for active yacht charters are non-refundable unless specified otherwise by the skipper contract.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall CedarTrain, nor any of its directors, employees, or local coordinators, be held liable for any unforeseen event, force majeure (including flight cancellations, extreme weather on sea tours, or border closures), or employer contract breaches once the candidate is placed.
6. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Croatia, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Split, Croatia.
